Well Tank (Pressure Tank) Service
Your pressure tank doesn’t just store water. It protects your pump. By maintaining a cushion of air pressure, the tank keeps your pump from turning on every time someone runs a faucet. When the tank’s bladder or air charge fails, the pump loses that buffer and starts short cycling.
Signs your pressure tank may need service or replacement:
- Pump kicks on and off every few seconds
- Water pressure drops almost immediately after the pump turns off
- Clicking or chattering at the pressure switch
- Pump runs far more often than it used to
We inspect the tank, test the pressure, and check the switch during any pressure tank service call. In many cases, a tank replacement resolves what looked like a pump problem and extends the life of the pump significantly. Financing is available through GreenSky and Service Finance if cost is a concern.
